Get out and dance in the rain to celebrate this historical film icon’s birthday! It seems that the original screen tester had no clue what they missed out on when they declared he, “can’t act, can’t sing, balding but can dance a little”. Astaire was named one of the top 19 movie stars of all time and even mentioned in Madonna’s song “Vogue”, so slip on your dancing shoes and break it down to celebrate this actors birthday!
God bless our teachers! I am especially singing their praise as we start to head into an endless summer chorus of “I’m bored” and “I’m not eating that”. We have our teachers to thank for pouring their love of knowledge into our world’s future leaders and I can think of no more important career! To all those teachers out there, thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over!
So your teacher some appreciation with one of these gifts that they might actually love!
Running 26.2 miles, WHHHHAAATTTT! I never knew a thing about marathoning until my husband decided to tackle one for the first time this year. The amount of dedication and prep it takes to compete in a marathon blew my mind and each competitor deserves some big cheers.
One thing I loved as a spectator was the crowds cheering everyone on. For my next marathon cheering session I am packing a cowbell, cough drops to help my throat with all the screaming and making some hilarious signs to keep those runners going!

Grilled cheese really does make everything magical! This is my favorite go to treat and there are so many ways to dress up a plain old grilled cheese. My favorite trick is using a light slather of mayo on the outside instead of butter, when you toast it in the pan it gets super toasty and crisp!
