Laissez les bons temps rouler, let the good times roll on this Fat Tuesday! On this final day of Epiphany, Christians around the world revel in the their last day of indulgence prior to Ash Wednesday kicking off the next 40 days of Lent. While New Orleans hosts the largest Mardi Gras celebrations, the original is claimed to have been held in Mobile Alabama way back in 1699 and is a tradition that is still going strong today. On Wednesday January 31st the world will witness a Blood Moon! It’s a total lunar eclipse where the moon doesn’t go totally dark…it goes blood red! This happens when the moon reaches it’s closest point to earth in this orbit and it will appear bigger than normal with a deep reddish tint. Legend’s say that this type of moon causes increased aggression in werewolves and many more people are bitten and transformed on the nights that a Blood Moon hangs in the sky.
This is the type of moon legends are built on, so if you dare, mix ya up some Blood Moon Martini’s pack them in your KELLBEE Cup and head outside to watch the show! KELLBEE Cups are a Stainless Steel Yeti Style Tumbler that comes in an AMAZING variety of bright vibrant colors and will keep your beverage cold for 24 hours in it’s double walled vacuum insulated stainless steel walls all while insulating your hands from the cold! I have several that I use everyday for both hot and cold beverages and I totally love mine!
So put on your big girl panties, mix up a Blood Moon Martini, fill up your KELLBEE and keep your figures crossed that you don’t fall victim to the Blood Moon Werewolf attack statistics!
